Minimum requirements:
- Have at least 12 months of full-time work (or part-time equivalent) in Canada within three years from the date of application,
- Having obtained the professional experience in Canada, with the proper authorization,
- Achieve the minimum level of knowledge of the languages spoken in Canada through an IRCC-approved test (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). The test will verify the knowledge in four categories: speech, reading, understanding and writing.
- Want to live outside the province of Quebec.
Self-employment and work experience gained over time as a full-time student do not serve as a work experience in Canada.
1. Educational Level
There is no educational requirement for this program. However, points are earned for Express Entry if you have studied in Canada or completed your studies in your home country and make an equivalency of your diploma using one of the institutions accredited by Canadian immigration.
2. Proficiency in English and / or French
It is necessary to achieve the minimum level of knowledge of the languages spoken in Canada (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A. (CLB) 5 for NOC B in the categories of speech, understanding, reading and writing.
