MUDANÇA NA DEFINIÇÃO DE DEPENDENTES

IRCC proposes to increase the maximum age of children accompanying the main candidate in the application for permanent residence. GOVERNO AGILIZA PROCESSOS DE SPONSORSHIP

Ottawa, June 13, 2016 – As part of its commitment to family reunification, the Government of Canada will grant permanent residence to more spouses, partners and dependent children of Canadian citizens and permanent residents that year. This will significantly reduce the accumulation of existing orders and accelerate the processing time of future applications.

This year, the Government increased the number of spaces allowed for spouses, partners and dependent children from 14 000 to 62 000 spaces.

It is not necessary to contact immigration. Just make sure your information is up-to-date and if you are contacted by immigration respond within the deadline stated in the correspondence. The success of the operation also depends on the applicant’s help.
